Okay i have a jeep grand cherokee but my mom owns a 2000 Ford Expedition. My question is was there ever a recall on the sunroofs of this year? The motor went out like 3 years ago and she had to pay 600 for it (rip off) but anyways now it wouldnt close a couple of days ago. She took it into the dealership and they said that the cables that pull it "snapped" so the bill was gonna be about 1500! This sunroof has caused a lot of problems and she doesn't have the money to pay for that right now so i was just curious to see if anyone could shed some light on a recall of some sort...any info will help thank you.

 

No recall or TSB on sunroof issues. I would get it closed and disconnect the switch!
