Suspension air bags leaking. How complicated are they to replace.Is it something that the average mechanic can do or does it require a more skilled mechanic.

 

In my opinion they are fairly easy to replace well the rear. I have a 2001 Ford Expedition which I replaced the rear airbags. I turned the system off first by the switch located under the glove compartment passenger side. I just lifted the back from the hitch. Took out the retaining clip which is on top of the airbag close to the frame. Took off the retaining clip from the solenoid and then twisted off the solenoid. Once the airbag is loose it just pops off with a little pressure. You pretty much do the opposite sequence to put them back on and that's about it.
