I'm hoping someone can help me out with this one. Sometimes when i start my truck and sometimes when i turn the truck off, I hear a sound coming from under the hood on the passenger side. It sounds like an air compressor, it lasts for maybe 30 seconds to a minute. This is on a 99 expy with 65xxx miles on it. I just bought the truck 2 months ago and I'm not sure if this sound is even abnormal. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Thats exactly what it is..

It's the Air Suspension Compressor/Motor.. Here's a few pics of the compressor/location..
