Default 03 Explorer XLT Cruise not working.

I just installed new wheel bearings front and rear. I never noticed until a week later that the cruise control doesn't come on anymore? The light on the dash indicating the cruise is on doesn't come on and the cruise just doesn't work. It worked fine before I installed the wheel bearings?

Where do I start looking? I unplugged the switch on the master cylinder and jumped it but that did not do anything.

Right now the explorer is outside, (winter here in N.Y., 10 degrees outside) as I am doing a project in my house and I needed my heated garage for my carpentry tools. I should be finished with my project in the next couple of days and will be able to get the exp. back in the garage for repair.

Where do I start looking? Is there a fuse or sender where I can check for power? Everything else seems to work fine.

Bob
