Default 06 Explorer

I have a new 06 Explorer Limited, V8, 18in wheels. I am generally very pleased with the vehicle, however, I have noticed that at speeds above about 50mph, when I apply the brakes there is noticeable vibration that can be felt in the brake pedal and through the steering wheel. I only have about 500mi on the vehicle. Do you think this will go away with more miles, or is it something I need to bring to the dealer's attention. I had a car once that had warped brake rotors and this seems awfully similar. Could it also be caused by wheels out of balance? Would appreciate feedback from anyone who has had similar experience or believes they know what might be the problem. I have also never had wheels as big as 18in and can definitely feel every imperfection in the road surface. I guess it is the wheels anyway. Kind of wish I had stuck with the standard 17in. Would appreciate feedback from any 06/07 Explorer owners regarding ride, especially those with 18in wheels.

Sounds like the rear rotors are warped. Warranty will cover this for 12 months/12,000 miles.

Thanks a lot. I'll take it in and have it taken care of.
