1997 Explorer XLT 4 door shifts hard into overdrive
When accelerating on a freeway ramp, vehicle shifts hard into overdrive. It is a random occurance but happening more often lately.
Note that it is specifically upon heavier acceleration. Is this a concern for the health of the transmission? I haven't pulled any codes. Is this more likely an adjustment or ?
