Default 1999 Ford Explorer drivers side unlock button does not work

Yep, scratching my head on this. The passenger side door lock/unlock button works fine. The drivers side button will lock all of the doors but the unlock does not work. I replaced the switch but the same thing happens with the new switch.

Thanks

Default Did you figure it out?

Hello, did you ever figure out what was wrong? I have the same problem in my 2003 Ford Explorer, I've tried living with it but it gets tiresome after a while and was hoping to fix it without paying big bucks.

Thanks!

No luck, the only information I could get is one of the wires may be broken (a common problem). You would have to trace the four wires back and see if you can find a broken one

Try the Relay fuses near the back wheel well. It's the same place you'll find the keyless entry code.
