Does anyone know how much oil to add to a new ac compressor for a 2004 Ford Explorer? And where is the " orifice tube" located. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Before trying to provide any answers , do you have the means to evacuate the system ?
If not , you might want to look a little further into the correct procedure when replacing the compressor , especially, correcting why it failed and what it might have left behind.
