Default 2004 explorer no start

hi all
new to posting but a long time reader of these forums. in my garage is a sign stating"Busted knuckle garage, home of repair and dispare under one roof"..wifes present to me..well im in the dispare mode at the present time.. I thought i would change the fuel filter and in doing so would run the engine out of fuel to relieve pressure on the line..so i pulled the fuse for the fuel pump, but here is the what elseI pulled to be on the safe side:40Apowertrain control mdule..15A pcm/rdeatc/cluster..20Apcm 2speed 4x4..15Aac clutch relay/tranny...15Ainjectors fuel pump relay coil and the pcm diode which i have lost[:@]but there is a ac cluth diode next to this, will it work to get the car to run, if I plug it in the pcm slot? now,all that happens when i turn the key is nothing...some instument lights go out some don't the odometer and outside temp show dashes..ok tell me what a fool i am a what needs to be done to fix my mess all I need now is to bust a knuckle..thanks for your help!!!!!

You can swap them.. Without the diode the PCM won't power up..

On the fuel filter replacement,, pull the fuel pump relay from the battery junction box, then start the engine and let run untill it stalls.. Crank the engine around 5 seconds or so after the stall to exhaust the remaining pressures..

thanks hayapower for the reply..switched diode.. still nothing from the stater--still just dashes on the odometer..did I make the PATS system go brain dead when I PULLED all the fuses listed? your screen name may be my next step..hay may be cheaper than gasand a powerful horse most likely would not be giving me this problem thanks in advance
