Post 2005 explorer parasitic drain

I have 2005 Explorer vin code K that has come into the shop with a parasitic drain. the draw comes from under hood mini fuse 15. Its a 15A for Memory PCM/DEATC/CLUSTER, Courtesy Lamps. All ext cargo lights turn off automatically as they should. Interior lights do NOT come on at all. I had the vehicle on a trickle charger for an afternoon then drove it around for a couple blocks. let it sit over the weekend W/O charger and on Tuesday it fired up and drove no issues. Customer picked up vehicle and had it towed back a couple days later for dead battery. Now battery does NOT hold charge while cables are connected at all but battery and charging system all test fine. I'm at a loss on what to check for drain or how to do so with out messing something up. Any Ideas or advice would be appreciated.

There is a special procedure for locating parasitic drains and most shops don't know it or don't want to get involved with it.

The old way of pulling fuses is INCOMPLETE and not reliable because electronic modules can reset when the fuse is removed and you will never find the problem that way,

Your best bet is to find a shop that does a lot of electrical work and has a good reputation for being up to date. It is not difficult, but does require some learning and a lot of places don't care to invest the time and effort.
