My father was thinking about purchasing a 2009 or 2010 Explorer for an larger vehicle. I suggested he might want to wait for the 2011 model.

Anyone know when it is supposed to hit the dealers? any new options?

I do not know much about it, but I did hear they were going to mate it to a car platform, not a truck platform. lower to the ground

 

Must say I have a negative disposition when it comes to 4x4's without a frame and no V8 option. From what I've seen, it looks like the Edge. JMHO
