Curious thing happened last week. I had not been to the local Ford dealership in 5 years yet when I called to make an appointment for a recall issue the Service Desk knew how many kilometers were on the vehicle. Any ideas on how this might be? Third party dealer entering VIN checking for maintenance/parts info from the Ford site perhaps?

No. I use another garage for all my work. They have no Ford affiliation.
