Default 94 Explorer won't start

i have a 94 explorer with 327000 miles, just drove cross country and made it home, next morning i went to start it and it would not turn over. the engine cranks with no observable problems, just won't start up, the fuel pump is only a few years old, the filter is clean. i checked the line and it's pumping fuelout the engine side of the filter. the battery is good, after serveral attempts to start, it's still got a good charge and is craking the engine. no obstructions in the air system, the clue i had was the last time i stopped for fuel, the engine chugged a little after i started, i stopped and restarted and the engine fired up and got me the rest of the way home no problems. the next morning all this started, i'm a descent mechanic but have no trouble shooting skills to speak of, any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Just because you have observable fuel from filter does not mean you have the pressure required to deliver to cylinders. Check spark, if you have spark then you can try injecting some brake cleaner into throttle body to give extra fuel delivery to see if it will start.
