'95 4.0 Explorer won't start
Have intermitent starting problem . Cranks over strong & have spark. A shot of starting fluid in the throttle body makes no difference so I asume it's getting gas. It's decided to start a few times over the last week of working on it & when it starts, it run like a top. Then later it won't start. Can anyone help point me in the right direction other than the nearest cliff? Thanks.
When it doesn't start, have you tried turning the key off and then back on again to see if it will start? Sometimes the PCM doesn't identify #1 cylinder on initial crank and it fires the wrong injector, which makes it difficult to fire off.
