98 awd clanking metal

Default 98 awd clanking metal
Explorer started making a metal on metal noise. It seems to be coming from the front. Had it up but can see no problem. It will stop for a short distance then start up again. Any ideas?

need more info/ could be the rad arm/or ??bushings causing your problem I had the same noise on my 1997 replaced both no problem now
