These forums are great! From the ZX2 forum which told me about the CCRM bad solder joint ( 1 year chasing that A/C problem) to the 98 explorer door unlock broken wire which looked like a switch problem (cost 0 $, vs a new/used switch assy). Now I have 1 new problem with my daughters' 98 explorer sport. The dome light or chimedoes not come on when you open the drivers door. The lights come on when the passengers dorr is opened or the fob/keyless entry is used. Is this another broken wire? Where is the switch for the dome light? I'm sure it is another easy fix.
