Default 98 explorer limited again

Hi I got the keys made by the dealer they even gave me the code to get keys made if we lose them again. But now my remote start is not working it was before the dealer made the keys, also while they had it they disconnected the speed control switch due to a recall #05S28 theysaid that theywill get the part needed in January and they will call. What I am wondering is would thiseffect my remote start? Thank you have a nice day!

The engine turns over, but does not start. It is possible that the campaign disabled you remote start. I'm not sure how your system is wired, but it could be powered partially thru that circuit.
