I'm trying to get my '97 Explorer in mint condition, but it seems like I can't get aoriginal Ford Explorer radio/cassette/CD for it. It looks like from the models 1998 and up they come with those as optional.I don't want the original radio with the CD option I just want a in dash CD player.Does anybody know where can I find one ?...if so What changes I will have to make?Is theaftermarket radio the cause that messed upthe radio controls for the rear seat passengers?Please help..I'mgoing nuts with this !

Yes. An aftermarket radio may not have been made to be wired with all the options.

 

Look on Ebay, there are always for sale there.

Ebay is a great bet if the local salvage yards have nothing. Just be patient and within a month if you have a list of searches (narrow how many words you use) you should find it. If you want help I'll even search it out if you like.
