Ford explorer / edge naturally aspirated engines
Hi guys,
I know that the ecoboost engines are turbo charged and have direct injection. With carbon deposits on the intake valve and previous issues of cracked turbos, I am a bit hesitant on getting such an engine.
The naturally aspirated engines take care of the turbo issue but are they still DI? I remember many years back when Ford didn't convert them to DI but with CAFE standards, I am not so sure it might be the case today. I did google search on it but can't find a definite answer.
