Ford Explorer XLT Payload
Hello,
We have a 2022 Ford Explorer XLT 4WD on order, with the 2.3 EcoBoost engine. Also added the 20" tires. Just curious about the payload only being about 1085 on this Explorer. We would be pulling a smaller golf cart trailer with it. It definitely has the capability to tow a small trailer, just seems like a really low payload for a vehicle like this. By the time we fill the gas tank, 2 adults, dog, and hook up trailer, is there any payload left for cargo? We are familiar with payload as we also have an F150. We just need to be sure if we continue with the purchase of this it will work for us. Don't want to find out after the fact that we are out of payload. Any thoughts on this?
