Default Front sway link positioning

I have a 13 Explorer, front wheel drive that I bought used. I have a worn link and want to replace it. Looking at the existing links, one has the offset end on top the other is at the bottom? What is the correct position? What I mean by offset is, the end is welded to the bar part of the link at a slight angle to the the other end. So one end mounts at a 90 degree angle and the other is offset slightly. Thanks
