Where can I find the GEM on my '01 Ford Explorer Sport V6? My windshield wipers work only on the Hi level and I think the GEM needs to be replaced.

Could it be that you have a stuck hi/low relay in the battery junction box? That's the fuse box under the hood.

Do you know how I can check to see if the relay is working?

That was it. Thanks for you help. Now I just have to see if I can find it anywhere other than the dealer.
