I replaced my rearview camera Explorer
So I got motivated, because Ford quoted me $800 to replace my rearview camera on my 2012 Explorer. I bought one on ebay, googled how to install and did it! I am a 67 year old female and I did it! LOL. The camera works but it has 2 white lines in it that won't go away. Can someone tell me what I need to do now? Does it need to go to Ford for calibration, or do I need to unhook the battery and let it sync? Thanks!!
The two white lines should move when the steering wheel is turned, they show where the vehicle will go based on the angle the steering wheel is it.
You will need to get the rear camera calibrated using a ford scan tool. You could try ForScan and see if it has this capacity or not.
