Someone wrote earlier about the door code being hidden where the jack is. Does anyone know where else it may be other than a dealer's file cabinet? thanks Also, does anyone know where to get key copies that will start the truck? Ford wants $130.

 

My code was under my dash near the steering column.

 

I took off the plastic piece and then the metal piece below the steer. col. and didn't see anything that was obvious. WAs there a sticker that it was on?

 

I have a 2001 Explorer Sport and my keypad code was located under my defrost panel on top of the dash. Just pop it off and look through the windshield directly above the passenger side windshield wiper. You will see a bar code and a few other misc. numbers. You will see to the very right in bold numbers a 5 digit number. That should be your keypad code. Hope this helps.
