Default Locks and Dash Lights

I've got a 2002 4.0 AWD, my problem is mostly with the electrical/wiring. For about a year now, my door locks work and do not work (mostly not work). When I hit the unlock on the remote, the lights come on and it will unlock, hit it twice and it'll unlock all doors. When I press lock on the remote, it will not lock but the lights will go off, hit it twice and the horn honks as it normally would but still does not lock. While in the vehicle when I press lock, it does not work from either driver or passenger side. When lock is pressed I can hear a clicking from just behind the rear passenger side seat. Is there a relay behind that panel? I've never heard of just one part of a relay burning out while allowing the other side (unlock) to still work, more than that for both to occassionally work. Anyone having this problem or know how to fix it? Also my odometer lights will either not work at all, be extremely dim, or work fine. Any ideas on this? I've checked every fuse under hood and under dash and can find none bad at all. Anyone got an idea?? Also, what kind of milage is everyone getting in their 02-05 4.0 AWD. I'm averaging 15, 20 was the best it's ever done and that was all highway at no more than 65mph.

I guess it's possible, I don't know. I've had the truck for 2 years and I haven't ripped into it like I usually do cause it is so new and still looks/runs good. I supposed it could have 2 relays, but that doesn't explain why they'll lock sometimes and and not others. I don't usually use the lock from inside, but when it started to not work I've been trying it.

I have a 2002 also with the same dash odometer light problem. Must be a factory defect?
