Default New here....leaking brake fluid

Hi there,
I am new here and new to this....I have a 99 Ford Explorer 4 door 2wd. Just got new front brakes, now, a weeklater,I am leaking brake fluid. Can anyone give me a round about idea of what this might cost to get fixed? I just dont' wanna get ripped off when I bring it in...happens too much and I tired of it.
I know its leaking cause I drive about 15-20 miles, brake light pops on, check the fluid and its half empty....fill it up again, boom....same problem. [sm=boohoo.gif]
Thanks

Welcome...

How many miles on your explorer?

All depends on whats leaking.. Could be a repair 'quality' issue, and there for no cost warranty.. Like if new loaded calipers were installed/hoses, loose connection ect. Can you look under front and give an idea of wherethe leak is originating from.. That much fluid will run or sling off the tire/rim.. Should be easy to spot.. Also, you don't want brake fluid on any painted surfaces, it will remove paint..

just under 96,000 miles. I can try to take a look in the morning, but we have had ice/sleet lately so everything around the truck is wet. hard to tell. My friend did the brake job, so I know that won't be under warranty.
