Hello all, I am new to this forum and hope to get a line on my 98 Explorer latest issue.
My puddle lamps and interior lamps do not light when I open any doors or hatch. The dimmer switch does light the 3 lamps inside when turned on, and it dims as it should. The reading lamps also work fine. There appears to be no relay or fuse for this, and I have looked for obvious wire breaks in the drivers door harness and hatch. (most frequent used) Thus far nothing. I just replaced the battery last week, (not an unexpected death) and everything appeared to work after. Any thoughts on what to check and if wires, any color would be a help. Thanks![&:]
