How do you remove the visors from a 2003 Explorer?I need toget the front of the headliner down to search for a leak. I can get the visor "hook" off, but can not figure out how the access panel off the visor mount itself. Anyone have an idea?

My '93 had 2 screws on the outside end of the visors (toward the doors).If you look up from the dashboard you should see the screwsby the hinge on the visor.If you undo those screws it should drop right down. There will be a small wiring connector for the lighted mirrors, just pop that out and youshould be able to remove the visor. Wear long sleves if you are going to put your arms under the headliner, it's made of fiberglass.
