Short wheel base!!!!

Short wheel base!!!!

I own a '03 explorer 4wd and was wondering if there was a way to widen the wheel base just a bit without having to purchase new 9" rims. Maybe a 1/4 inch spacer before mounting wheel???? Any suggestions?

I think spacers would be your cheapest way to go.
