Brigestone Duelers are very good all around tires, they are pretty expensive but they will give superior traction, look pretty agressive and have good street manners, as in they are quiet on the road. If these are out of price range then you should look into a firestone destination le. Not quite as good of traction, but they are well priced and good looking tire.

Wheelsup named 2 of my 3 favorites...I've got Bridgestones on my 94 Ranger, and I've got BF Goodrich all-terrain T/A's on my 92 Explorer. I like both. I've used the BFG's the longest and they have an excellent track record for me. I haven't run Destinations, but they come highly regarded. (I chose the Bridgestones over them for the Ranger). I'll likely put them on my van soon. Most people like what they have, however, and you may get several other responses to confuse things!! The BFG's have slightly more road noise, but it's no big deal for me, and the Bridgestones were somewhat more expensive.

I retail a lot of different make tires out of my shop, and I refuse to sell junk. Mabey makes me not very good in buisness sense, but tire are one area I will not sacrafice my reputation with. Not to sound arrogant, but if I say it is a good tire then there is a good reason for it, I've track tested almost all of them, and gave ride and try on several other models including Goodyear Wrangler RTS tires that someone begged me to remove after 2 days, I obliged and sold them the Duelers at upgraded price and all complaints resolved immediately. As a consumer you should always ask about this policy, most major tire dealers will allow something like this to make you happy.
