Default Wet Floor Mat

The mat in cargo area of my 98 XLT is always wet. Well I shouldn't say the mat itself. Its underneath that's wet. Even on the dryest day. Any ideas???

Thanks, I'll give that a try...I don't know what seal you mean, but I should've added that nothing else is wet. I'll try the baking soda and let you know...Thanks again

You might pull back the interior trim panels at the rear and see if you have a leak around the wheel well body seams. You might also have a body plug missing or not seated correctly. I had this problem on my explorer and had to reseal the wheel well seam.
