Hello all . I am looking for some input on my 04 f150 . I have the 5.4 engine with the dreaded TICK at low idle. I have researched replacing the cam phasers only to read on that shortly down the road they once again failed. I see they do have a wedge you can put in to make the cam gear solid. But if by doing that then from what I understand you have to reprogram the computer. I hate to give up on a 04 with a good chassis but on the otherhand I don't wanna see piston meet valves either down the road. Perhaps Ford will step up an acknowledge this issue as they have done with the spark plugs. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
