Default 09 Ford, F-150 - 5.4L/3V: Rocker arm brands

I’ve got a 2009 Ford, F-150 XLT 4x4 with the 5.4L/3V engine with 155K miles.

She’s starting to make unruly noises…which means fix me now! So, with that said I’ve started hunting around online comparing rocker arm prices just in case I actually need to order them. I’ve compared these two brands, (Original - Genuine Ford parts & OEM - Michigan Motor Company (MMC)), for comparison…seems to be a HUGE price difference.

I know most people say go with the original Genuine Ford parts, but the prices for original parts seem very high. Which makes the comparison brand very competitive price wise? Not sure about the item durability/quality with MMC parts as I’ve never used them before.

ORIGINAL - Genuine Ford, P/N: 3L3Z-6564-BA, Rocker Arm Valve Assembly

AMAZON LINK:

12(ea) = $190.80, for a half set of rocker arms

24(ea) = 381.60, for a full set of rocker arms

OEM - replacement parts by: Michigan Motor Company (MMC) – 5.4L 3V engine, full set of rocker arms.

MMC LINK: https://www.michiganmotorsports.com/...-engine-valve/

24(ea) = $115.99

Would be interesting to hear from people that’ve experience using these brands and if there worth the time or effort to buy.
Thanks ahead of time!

Considering if the parts fail the engine could fail and that its a semi invasive job, I would stick with OEM.
I would replace both vct phasers, all followers and lifters, its basically all the same work as only doing the followers and knocks out the main failures of the engine.
