1977 Ford F150 issues

my fuel pump won't pull gas through the lines. I have blown air from the hose at the rear goin towards the pump, and air comes out. but pump won't pump. it is a new pump.

I have had that happen to me, man that sucked... I went through three bedore I found one thst works luckily for me I was able to take them back

If you can check the travel of the fuel pump arm before you install it might save you some trouble.
