1991 F-150 Ignition Problems
Hello,
I have a problem with the ignition actuator on our 1991 f-150. the part i'm replacing( the actuator ) connects the ignition switch rod (which runs the length of the steering column to the ignition switch) to the key cylinder. it snapped and now i have it all apart and i cannot remove it from the steering column; it's trapped inside all of the casing around the steering shaft. i have removed all the trim i could as well as three bolts w/allen heads that are behind all this junk. the set-up is really loose, but it seems the steering shaft is holding it all back(i thought it would all slide out) could you guys please tell me what the trick is to removing and changing the actuator. any help is greatly appreciated.
ps: its a tilt wheel
thank you , Nick
