Hi. New here, have a 1994 Ford F-150 throwing an airbag code 12 with five sets of five audible beeps. I've done reading on forums and can say the airbag light is working (I've replace it) and the clockspring is showing no issue (horn, cruise control work). Sometimes it'll cut itself off mid-beep and then start over again. is it the airbag control module? I've seen someone post the technical guide to looking into a code 12 but it may as well be in Chinese. Can I cut a wire to shut the dumb thing up? 25 year old airbag probably not that useful now anyway

I suspect it is unrelated, but the KOEO test will also not complete. The EEC is brand new, which was replaced because the test wouldn't register initially but no difference. Wiring short somewhere? Already have 4 hrs into diagnosing as electrical is beyond my knowledge.

I'm at a total loss ... appreciate any and all help! Otherwise it make be time to accept losses and send to scrap pile.
