2001 f150 automatic 4wd

Turn key and only hear a click.....battery not dead,still has full charge.....any ideas as to what is wrong?????...thanks in advance for any possible help.....ron

Check starter and solenoid.

it could also be a bad solonoid try replacing that first and clean battery posts and check for loose conections
