I have a 2010 F150 extended cab 25K miles. Sounds like a micro switch attached to the gas pedal. A loud click noise can be heard and felt in the gas pedal. This happens after the pedal has been returned to idle position and then the operator is starting to apply force to the gas pedal to move forward. Ford first said they could not duplicat the noise. Last trip in they said they heard the noise but it compares to other 2010 F150 gas pedal click. Can that be true? Sounds like a micro switch failure to me or does the switch actually have to fail to be replaced?
