Default 2012 3.7L V6 F150 intake manifold cover problem

so I was changing my spark plugs and when I went to put the intake manifold cover back on, I guess I overtightened one of the 8mm screws and I either broke the bolt or broke where it screws in to. So there is one screw that is not holding the intake manifold cover at all. I took it for a test drive to see if this would be an issue and it definitely wasn't driving right. It seemed like it was slipping. I'm trying to find figure out if the truck slipping is a direct result of the intake manifold not being sealed properly or if maybe there's another problem.
