On some trucks the solenoid can be cleaned and it will work again. IWE's I think have to be replaced.

ok so do have a diagram or a website orsome thing that i can look at so i know betterhow it worksand what everthing is.

You can get a Haynes or Chilton Manual for about $16 that will help out a bunch.

There's also an open TSB 06-8-15 for water intrusion into the solenoid and possibly into the vacuum integrated wheel ends (IWE) Might pull the vacuum line at the IWE and look for any evidence of waterpresence..
