Hey. I have a 1986 F150 with 302 EFI. Im lookin at puttin 2.5 straight pipes with short tube glasspacks with 3 inch tips and make my own intake. Im wondering on an older EFI truck like this do i need to look for a chip or still a better carb??? if you get what im asking and have a answer it would be greatly appreciated,

 

You should be O.K. with the stock engine. BTW, I wouldn't recommend buying a carb for an EFI engine.
