89 f150 wont idle and backfire 4.9l

you can clear the code engine will run fine about 10 minutes engine light returns engine will not idle and starts to backfire through intake mostly when gas pedal is depressed any help would be nice

Sounds like a 02 sensor possibly.

Pull codes from it and see what ya find.
