96 4.9 info ?

96 4.9 info ?
I just recently purchased a 96 F150 4x4 with a 4.9 and I was just wondering if I could get some general information on it? gas mileage, horsepower, torgue, and anyones general opinion on the moter. Any info would be much apreciated. Thanks

Horse Power was 150, torque was (I think) 265..
The 4.9 was an 'EXCELLENT' performer for Ford.. The 4.9 was well known for its longevity, awesome 'grunt' from/with a wide torque band throughout the RPM range.. Mileages will vary, but a STD cab, manual trans 2x4 will see the 'high teens' and over if the right driving conditions are met.. Congrats on your purchase.. Good choice for a all around truck....
