Default 97 f 150

my 97 f150 is not getting fire to the fuel pump i took the pump out of the tank to check it and its fine but i am not getting fire to the fuel pump thru the wire does this truck have some kind of a sensor or a safety shut off on it if it does where is it located so i can check that i drove it to my brother in law house so he could fix the miss in it and it ran bad all the way to his house which is about 40 mile going up those hill he live on was a bad go the front brakes were locking up
i put this motor in it 2 years ago and have spent over 400 bucks on trying to figure out why its missing its been setting up for those 2 years i have not drove it for more 200 mile since i changed motor out when they put the motor in ever sence that day my driver window will go down by its self and my temp gauge is messing up too
where is that fuel pump shut off at help me please i dont want to sell my truck

I don't know where it would be located, but the manual may tell you where it is. Make sure you check your fuses, too. In fact, do that first.

On the E series the "initeria switch is usually located behind the passenger side kick panel.
On some of the "F" series it is located in the center of the hump in the passenger compartment where the heater floor duct blows out, up against the firewall.
