Looking for some direction on how to repair my truck.

Know issues:

Serptine belt slipping

AC pully starting and stopping even when AC is in off position.

rough idle.

A compressor clutch bearing that is starting to run dry can produce those symptoms. Only the bearing itself would need to be replaced, . If the belt has been slipping , replacing the belt also would be a good move.

1. worn belt, tensioner weak or seized or accessory is loading down belt.
2.a/c- I would try disconnecting the field coil connection for the A/C clutch to see if it is a mechanical or electrical issue.
3.If your truck has OBD2, connect a scan tool and look at fuel trims and possible codes. Many things can cause rough idle. This is where you shoould do some diagnostic work and do not guess with new parts. Vacuum leaks, ignition fuel system problem.
