97 f150 trans noise

97 f150 trans noise
have a 97 f150 manual 5 sp.When i get into 5th gear there is a little gear noise.Its only in 5th gear.Is there some additive to quiet it down or can i use a different trans fluid,Its not that loud but when u are driving on interstate it gets annoying.Any help would be apreiciated
