Hi everyone, I just purchased this 98 F-150 which has electric door locks but did not have the key fob. I purchased one through E Bay and have tried in vein to get it to work. I have tried the directions that came with the new fob (8 times off/on) and the reprograming instructions in the owners manual (5 times off/on). Still not working!! Can anyone give me a hint as to what I may be doing wrong or what my problem is? Thanks in advance.

 

Are you completing the on off cycle within the time frame stated? Are the doors shut and unlocked when starting the procedure? If these are done correctly, I have never had a problem with one.
