Question AC blowing hot air

i have a 97 F-150 V-6 (small engine), when i turn on the ac it blows hot air. the heater has not been worked on, the anti freeze level is where is should be and the AC compressor clicks on and off. i always turn off the ac before turning off my truck. i didn't turn off the ac before i turned off the truck and BAM now i have no ac. please help.

Okay, time to check this out the old fashioned way. The easiest way to check is to turn on the A/C (max, with blower on), and feel the return line (the larger of the 2) that come out of the evaporator and see if it's either cool/cold. If it's nice and cold, then it's most likely a control problem (blend door) that isn't moving for some reason. If the compressor is short cycling (on and off quickly), it has a refigeration problem, which is probably due to a leak.
