Smile ac field clutch removal

I have 96 f150 4.9 line 6. driving home the other day ac clutch seized shredding my serp belt as i coasted in driveway. removed hub and pulley no problem as it pretty much fell on the ground after i took off center bolt. the issue i have now is the field coil welded itself to the compressor or do i need a special tool?

please help the hot and stranded new guy.

This one is a press fit. Use a small chisel and hammer and tap it around the back until it comes loose. Also look at the snout on the compressor to be sure the front is not damaged where the snap ring seats for the clutch.
