I have been looking at Air Intake for my 98 4.6. Not wanting to spend a lot of money, I was looking at them on Ebay and there are several different ones. Is there one that is more complete and better than another? I like the K&N filters but thought I could get one of the others then put a K&N filter on.

What is a good option?

I was going to get the cheaper intake kit, then update the filter to the K&N. Are the K&N intake kits made better or is my thinking off base?
